Google Algorithm Change for Brand Searches

Ok so for the past few days the SEO blog world has been talking about one interesting change in the Google Algorithm. This new change effects the way brands are searched on Google for example of I search for SEO MOZ (view attachement)

You can see that the SEOMOZ domain ranks for SEVEN of the top listings, which is great for the brand yet what about affiliates of the brand I am sure they are very annoyed at this new change.

The thing about these changes is that it is not for all big brands at this stage only a select few, this only highlights the issue that CTR is more and more of a important factor within search results.
