So I am always on the look out to see what websites are using less then favorable SEO tactics, A co-worker and SEO expert showed me this sneaky SEO Black hat use from a website in the Netherlands and they also have a international website. What these guys are doing is using a hidden H1 tag with a bunch of keywords reducing the size to a crazy low pixel level, they also have a scrolling box filled with a huge amount of these which they are trying to pass off as a banner I think. I mean this is not crazy black hat but it is not good! Check out the image below -

Helm Bar Website Hacked

Well a colleague at work has spotted another huge SEO hack from a popular bar/website in Australia, Helm bar website has been hacked and a less then impressive meta description is showing. With around 700 searches a month for the brand terms this is not good at all.

Deadmau5 Site hacked and Blackhat SEO

Hi all I mentioned a few days ago that some one had hacked into the Deadmau5 website and also their webmaster tools account and added Viagra affiliate links.
I am surprised they have not still picked up this, the site is run by Virgin records and I have tried to email them.
Looking at the source code the hackers have used black hat in a hidden DIV to add a large amount of links to adult websites –

Another point is that this site is going crazy at the moment on Google Trends –
